This is the first service pack released. No database processing is required. Help and the manual were improved, and a few other cosmetic changes were made. The first point listed below concerning journals inmported from DOS NewViews was the most significant change.

• Simple journal items are imported from DOS NewViews as one row.

  Prior version added two rows per simple journal item imported from DOS NewViews, posting each to the JOURNAL_BAL account. This change adds one row, posting to the two accounts, and the JOURNAL_BAL account is not involved.

• <F3> can be used when reconciling any GENERAL account.

  Prior version allowed the use of <F3> to automatically set the reconcile field only when reconciling a BANK account. It was recognized that this functionality should be more general in nature.

• Transaction notes can be changed on reconciled transactions.

  Prior version did not allow notes to be changed on reconciled transactions. Generally, changes to reconciled trasnactions are prohibited but it was recognized that notes are a valid non-financial exception to this rule.

• NewViews shuts down after main default window setup.

  This clears memory and allows a fresh restart after this extensive operation.
